ANNOUNCING

• WE NEED PEOPLE TO HELP at the Church Picnic on Sunday, August 24 (Ripple Beach at Sunset Lake in Ashburnham). There is a sign-up sheet at the Welcome Center that lists all areas in which help is needed. Check it out today.
• A WATER BAPTISM will be held at the picnic. Please fill out and turn in an application card at the Welcome Center if you desire to be baptized in water. You will need to attend a class on August 24, from 10:00 to 10:50.
• MAKE PLANS NOW to attend a Prayer Gathering on Friday, August 29, at Pilgrim Covenant Church at 7:00 PM. The Pastors’ Prayer Team is planning two special prayer events—this one and another on October 31. The promise still stands: “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face … then will I hear …” (2 Chronicles 7:14). Our purpose is simply to cry out to God for ourselves and our nation.
• THE NEXT CHILD DEDICATION SERVICE is scheduled for Sunday, September 14, during the 11:00 AM service. If you desire to have your child(ren) dedicated, please pick up a yellow application card at the Welcome Center (one for each child), complete, and turn in.
• HAVE YOU REQUESTED L.A.B.I. STUDIES or turned in studies to be corrected? Please stop by the Welcome Center ASAP to pick them up. The folders are overflowing.
• EXCITING TEACHING OPPORTUNITIES are available at Holden Christian Academy (an ACSI-accredited school serving Preschool through Grade 8). There are part-time openings for a math and science teacher for grades 7 and 8 and a Spanish teacher for grades K-8. If interested, call 508-829-4418.
