A WORD FROM PASTOR MARK
November 2, 2008 by PastorMark.
For many people, “missions” conjures up images of faraway places and special people who are called to go there. What did mission mean to Jesus? At the last prayer meeting before the Crucifixion, Jesus prayed, “I have brought you glory on earth by completing the work you gave me to do” (John 17:4). The mission globally (“Go into all the world”) must translate into the mission personally. God doesn’t just send others to carry His message around the world. If you are His child, He has called you to carry His light and message to your everyday world. You and I are created with a purpose: to glorify God by completing His mission for our lives.
