A WORD FROM PASTOR MARK

I just finished reading the Book of Revelation. Each January, as a new year begins, I start to read the Bible through by reading at least four chapters a day. Some days the Bible stories rivet my attention, and I read more than four chapters. On other days, the material is so compact (think Romans) that I may read only one or two chapters. As you look forward to 2009, why don’t you plan ahead to read God’s Word cover to cover? There are many Bible reading guides. I suggest going to Morning Star Christian Book Store to pick up a guide (and Bible if needed). Let me leave you with a promise from Joshua 1:8: “Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.”
