A WORD FROM PASTOR MARK

God knows we need help. The person who pretends to have it all together lives in denial. In our relationship with God, it is so refreshing to be able to be completely honest with Him about our struggles. The Psalmist reveals this type of transparency: “When I said, ‘My foot is slipping,’ your love, O Lord, supported me. When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought joy to my soul” (94:18-19). Rather than hiding and pretending, the Psalmist brought his weakness and anxiety to God. Such faith is rewarded by discovering that God’s grace is more than enough!
