    • At their July 18 meeting the search committee began compiling a list of pastoral interview questions and will continue the work at their meeting today.
  • HOSPITALITY NETWORK ROTATION WEEK ~ August 1- 8
    • It is time to sign up for our next rotation at the Interfaith Hospitality Network at the shelter (196 Mechanic St. Leominster). It would be very helpful if you could purchase an extra package of paper plates, cups, plastic utensils, bowls, napkins or paper towels to donate for that week. There is a container in the lobby for your donation.  Also needed are cleaning supplies, such as Lysol, Windex and dishwashing liquid. Thank you for your continued support of this vital ministry to homeless families in our community. The shelter keeps families together while they work through their homelessness crisis. Your volunteer time to host for two hours or overnight, or to prepare an evening meal, are also key to maintaining the shelter during our rotation week. Please sign up at the MIHN table in the lobby. It doesn’t work without YOU.
  • A BABY MONITOR IS NEEDED
    • A sister in the Lord who is having serious health issues. If you can help, please call the office at 978-534-1190. Thank you.

THE ABCs OF SALVATION
To know God and be ready for heaven, follow these steps:

A.  Admit you are a sinner.
“There is no one righteous, not even one … for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:10, 23). Ask God’s forgiveness and repent of your sins. “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved” (Romans 10:13).

B.  Believe in Jesus as your only hope of salvation.
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16). Become a child of God by receiving Christ.
“To all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God” (John 1:12).

C.  Confess that Jesus is your Lord.
“If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9).
