B. Believe in Jesus as your only hope of salvation. “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16). Become a child of God by receiving Christ. “To all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God” (John 1:12).
C. Confess that Jesus is your Lord. “If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9).

A WORD FROM PASTOR PAUL
March 27, 2011 by admin.
Welcome!
Welcome to all. It’s always good to see our church family come together in worship and it is especially encouraging to have guests stop by for a visit. If you do not have a church home please know you are always welcome here. Today as a part of the worship we have students from the New England Masters Commission who, by the way, will be hosting a student event at 6 PM tonight. Bring your students, make it a family outing.
Last Friday night was such a life-giving time together. We celebrated the ministry of 157 faithful volunteers. That is impressive. If one of the vital signs of a healthy church is seen in the number of people serving, this church is doing something well. All thanks to the Lord and His people. Additionally, Ann and I were completely overwhelmed by the outpouring of love. Thank you for your many kind words; thank you for the thoughtfulness expressed; thank you for opening your hearts to us; thank you for the gifts you shared with us; thank you for the vision the Lord is bringing into focus for this church. We count it an honor to be able to partner with you for the future, and when we get to the other side, by faith, there will be many, many people there as a direct result of the full engagement this congregation has made in the mission. Let’s give it our all.
PEACE.

A WORD FROM PASTOR PAUL
March 20, 2011 by admin.
Welcome!
Our special guest this weekend is Keith Robinson. Let me introduce you to him. Keith and Samantha have holy passion to connect students with their God-given, eternal purpose. The main focus of Keith’s ministry is directed toward high school campuses across America. As a part of that initiative, he is developing strategies to help local churches effectively reach students with God’s Good News. Fortunately for us, we are one if those local churches.
I’ve seen firsthand Keith’s ministry. It is founded on God’s Word. It is mission guided. It is highly effective. For example while serving on staff with me, over a 1 year period of time, the student community grew from attendance in the 50’s to over 300 with most of the growth coming from students bringing students. You will be challenged today to help reach this generation for Christ. The time is now.
Thank you all for being here today. We gather in expectant faith to be encouraged in our missional work. Guests today, please help us get to know you. A connection card is available in the seat back in front of you. If you will take the card to the resource center after service, we have a gift for you. Thank you for being with us today and hope to see you again.
PEACE.

A WORD FROM PASTOR PAUL
March 13, 2011 by admin.
Welcome!
With faith-filled hearts we gather this weekend. The promise is timeless, where 2 or 3 gather in His name, He has promised to be present. Think of it, He is here today. Our prayer is that each one has an up-close and personal encounter with the Savior. Lord, let it be.
This week we will begin something new for the adults on Wednesday evenings. We’re calling it, DEEPER. I plan on taking a deeper look at the weekend message including practical applications and open up for Q and A. Our main goal in handling God’s Word is that it creates life-change in very real and practical ways. Please prayerfully consider joining with us as we go DEEPER into God’s Word together.
Next weekend, we will begin casting vision for ministry to students: Jr. Hi, High School and College. You will not want to miss it. Let me challenge each of us to encourage the students in our family/friend networks to be here next Sunday, 8:30 or 11. We will be dreaming some God-size dreams together.
WOW! A walk around the lobby this weekend gives you a sense of just how many people are “in the game.” If you have not found your niche of service to the Lord and this church, please prayerfully plug in somewhere. You may need to try out several points of service before you find the right fit. Each one of us has received certain unique gifts from God and He intends His gifts to be used. It’s kind of like Nike, Just Do It!!
How about some personal updates: Ann is coming on a one way ticket this Thursday…YEAH!!! No, I mean like really, Y E A H ! ! ! We will be off-loading the moving pods this Saturday. If any would like to help, call the office toward the end of the week for a start time. It will be so good to get settled in. The past 5 ½ months of transition has been quite a saga for Ann and me. We are very glad to be able to normalize our schedules and focus together on our ministry assignment. It’s going to be good.
PEACE.
