- Since September of last year God placed in us a vision to develop a Bible study/workbook to help the churches disciple their teens. Just this week, we were able to print the first copies and deliver them to the leading pastors in Maputo who will now have the needed material to disciple the hundreds of teens in each church. With the title, On a Journey with Jesus, the teens will establish a deep foundation in the Word of God of the personal relationship that is available with God. We want to express our sincere appreciation to Jason McIntosh of 5D Creative for all his support in the area of graphics. The Great Commission is all about going and making disciples, and this study will play a vital role in accomplishing this heartbeat of God!

A WORD FROM PASTOR PAUL
May 29, 2011 by admin.
Welcome!
It’s MEMORIAL DAY weekend. Amid the festive picnics, cookouts and backyard games, let’s all take opportunity to honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for the freedoms we enjoy. Make no mistake - freedom has not been cheap. It has been paid for with the life blood of many. If you know of someone who has had a family member make the ultimate sacrifice, please be proactive in thanking them this Memorial Day weekend.
Also today, we are sharing in another memorial experience. Water baptism is a time when a follower of Christ enters a watery grave, committing to follow Jesus for the rest of our days.

MISSIONARY OF THE WEEK
- Pappy Daniel, India
- The teenagers’ conference went real well with approximately 250 participants. The power of God was moving mightily in our midst and we felt like heaven coming down to us. The worship services were awesome. About 20 youngsters dedicated their lives for full time Christian ministry. Over 100 boys and girls stood up indicating that they are going to be witnesses of the Lord in their schools, work places, families and the communities they live in. There were new decisions to follow the Lord too. To Him be all the glory!
- On Good Friday morning, we did insert a salvation tract entitled ‘TWO THIEVES SPEAK OUT’ in 8000 newspapers in our area, so that the gospel got into the households of Hindus, Muslims, Catholics, nominal Christians, atheists, etc. 2000 copies were distributed in the following days. We have received very encouraging feedback from them.
- Now we have to prepare for the new school year to start on the 1st of June. The children need new school uniforms, supplies and tuition fees. Your prayers will be very much appreciated.
- With love from all here, In His abundant grace,
- Pappy Daniel
- MONTHLY MISSIONS SUPPORT

- MINISTRY OPPORTUNITY
- From time to time during the week we have individuals who need a ride to a Dr. appointment. If you would be willing to be on a call list to serve in this way, please call the church office at 978-534-1190. Thank you.
- MEMBERSHIP COVENANTS
- If you have not yet turned in your signed membership covenant, please do so this week. There is a basket on the Welcome Center desk for you to place them in.
- MAY MESSAGE SERIES — “REMEMBER”
- Today: Let’s Remember our Marriage
- 5/22: Let’s Remember the Lord
- 5/29: Let’s Remember our Heroes
- CARING CONNECTION
- Let’s pray for one another
- Pray for those who have received Christ in the past few weeks.
- Those in our congregation who need employment.
- Scott Hawke’s father (Merle)—cancer
- Carol Lowe—hiatal hernia, gallstones
- Prayer and Praise! This week we prayed for a newborn who was born with a tumor on his adrenal gland. It was a possible neuroblastoma. The operation was supposed to take 8-10 hours, but God intervened! It only took 2 1/2 hours and the surgeon was able to remove the whole tumor. AND they are now doubting that it was cancerous! Keep praying for this baby and his family, friends of Laurie Babcock.
- Praise God! Bill Mead is doing well and will be in the Transition Unit at Heywood Hospital for the next 4-5 weeks. Thank you for your prayers. Keep praying!
